This isn’t just another retreat.

This is a coming home to yourself.

Out there, the world is loud.
Endless notifications. Full calendars.
A pace that leaves little room for breath.

But here—
among the pines,
beneath wide skies,
within the quiet of your own body
a slower rhythm is waiting.

This retreat is an invitation to escape the noise,
to remember what it feels like to move gently,
to drop back into your body,
and let the stillness nourish.

Come slow down with us.
Your soul has been asking for this.

Colorado Springs, CO / October 23-26, 2025

  • Founder + Retreat Host

Hi friends, I'm Sav! I'm a lover of slow mornings, depth-filled conversations, travel, yoga & mindfulness and being in nature. Creativity has always been woven into the fabric of my being. Growing up with two incredibly artistic parents, art has naturally been the way I've known how to best express myself and make sense of the world around me. Savannah Lauren Photography came to life after returning home from living in Spain, back in 2018. As a artist and entrepreneur, I am deeply passionate about cultivating daily rhythms that allow me to re-connect with my mind, body and soul. I am so excited to invite you into this retreat experience that I truly believe will have a ripple affect in your life and will allow you to come home to yourself in such beautiful ways.

  • Yoga Instructor

I'm Veronica from Colombia! I discovered yoga in 2014 while pregnant, and the passion was solidified as I made it part of a marathon training in 2015. Recognizing all the benefits to body, mind and spirit, I pursued my first certification in 2016. Today I'm a 500 Hour Experienced Registered Yoga teacher. I have completed certifications in Power Vinyasa, Yin, Buti, Chair, Restorative, Kids, Trauma informed Yoga, among others. I have co-led teachers trainings and owned two yoga studios in SC. My family (two daughter and 3 dogs) calls KC home since 2022. I’m excited to guide you back into your body through intentional movement and breath.

  • Licensed Massage Therapist

I’m Jill! I’m a licensed massage therapist with a deep passion for healing and wellness. With a background in healthcare and a bachelor's degree in Biology from K-State, I’ve been practicing massage therapy since 2020 and opened my own practice in 2022 in the Kansas City metro area. My journey into massage therapy was deeply personal. After struggling with my own health challenges, I felt drawn to explore the powerful connection between the mind and body. I found comfort and healing on the massage table, a space where I could reconnect with my body and experience moments of pleasure, even amid the struggles of living with chronic conditions. I look forward to supporting you on your path to relaxation and renewal.

  • Artist + Retreat Cook

I'm Dawn! I’m a wife to my best friend who I’ve been married to for 33 years, a mother to 4 amazing humans and a grandmother to 7 beautiful children. I am an artist and interior designer, passionate about creating spaces and experiences for people to enjoy and tap into all of their senses. I graduated Kansas State University with a bachelor of science in arts and education. My husband and I have traveled the country doing art shows together and have owned and operated our own art gallery. Creativity flows into all areas of my life. I look forward to helping cook nourishing meals, creating a space for you to rest and helping you tap into your creativity.

  • Nature Therapy Guide

I'm Jill! I believe whole-heartedly that nature is medicine. My journey through life has always included time in the mountains, prairies, meadows, and forests: as a child, as a mom to two amazing men, as a teacher, as a nature photographer. While I was researching education in outdoor environments for all ages as an early childhood special education teacher, I discovered the Japanese practice of shinrin yoku (forest bathing). Immersing yourself in nature calms the nervous system, lowers blood pressure, and reduces cortisol (our stress hormone). Now, I support others in finding the power of this practice for themselves through Walk the Forest Nature Immersion Walks. Nature is the therapist, I am merely the guide. I am so honored to be included in this special retreat to provide intentional invitations as we wander, sit, and find peace and joy near the mountains and among the evergreens.

For the woman who longs to come home to herself—
in the hush of the forest pines,
in the steady rhythm of her breath,
in the sacred truth that rest isn’t something to earn,
but something to return to.

For the one who wants to move slowly,
to feel sunlight on her skin,
to be fed in every way—body, soul, and spirit.
To write, to stretch,
to wonder at the world and her place in it.

the brave one,
the tired one,
the one still reaching for beauty.
We’re saving you a place in the stillness.
